Welcome to TeammateTime. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our macOS menu bar application.

Account Information: When you purchase and set up TeammateTime, we may collect your name and email address for license activation purposes.

Slack Integration Data: When you connect your Slack workspace, we access your teammates' display names, profile pictures, and timezone information. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Google Calendar Integration Data: When you connect Google Calendar, we access timezone information associated with the email addresses you provide. This data is processed locally and is not stored on our servers.

Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymized usage statistics to improve the app experience. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.

We use the information we collect to:

• Display your teammates' local times and working hours
• Sync timezone data from connected integrations
• Activate and validate your software license
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Provide customer support when requested

TeammateTime is designed with a local-first approach. Your teammates' data, timezone information, and integration credentials are stored locally on your Mac. We use industry-standard encryption for any data that must be transmitted during the integration authentication process.

TeammateTime integrates with third-party services including Slack and Google Calendar. Your use of these integrations is also governed by their respective privacy policies. We only request the minimum permissions necessary for the app to function.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise transfer your personal information or Google user data to third parties. We do not share, transfer, or disclose Google user data to any third party for purposes other than providing or improving the functionality of TeammateTime.

Google Calendar data accessed by TeammateTime (such as timezone information) is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party.

We may share limited information only in the following circumstances:

• With your consent: We may share information when you explicitly authorize us to do so.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Service providers: We may use trusted service providers (e.g., payment processors for license purchases) who are bound by contractual obligations to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.

Integration data is stored locally on your device for as long as you use the app. When you disconnect an integration or uninstall TeammateTime, the associated data is removed from your device. License information may be retained in our systems for order management purposes.

You have the right to:

• Disconnect integrations and remove associated data at any time
• Request deletion of your license and account information
• Opt out of anonymized usage analytics
• Request a copy of any personal data we hold

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of TeammateTime after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
